Recorded message about charges to Visa card or Mastercard. Option to report as fraud. Definitely a scam

Scam call regard your NBN internet security. But can not tell you who you want to talk to or what is the address of the internet.

Caller: Visa Security

Asked me to press 1 to approve a payment of $1300 on my visa card, or press 2 not to approve. Hung up.

Caller claimed to be from Telstra regarding upgrade to my internet service. he asked me to do a speed check and then told me my connection was being upgraded. He passed me over to his manager who said he was from NBN. He said I was being upgraded from ADSL to fibre. Iaskef homwh

Called me saying that they are from Telstra internet even though I told them I didn't have Telstra internet, but continued on saying that all internet companies have their security through Telstra and wanted to let me know that my internet server was now public instead of private, I told them I would confirm with my internet provider and they hung up . Dodgy c#@ts.

Fake PayPal payment scam.

Caller: Male

Caller said his name was Tom from Visa/Master card security. Scam call.

Rang waited for me to say my name and hung up. I returned their call and they hung up. Potential scammer.

Caller: Someone about my Visa card

Told them I would blow a loud whistle in their ear if I heard from them again (as I do with all scam callers). Usually do not answer calls not on my list but am getting sick of so many calls.

Apparently, Jenny from Visa Security said I have an issue. But she hung up before we could talk further.

Missed call and I dont know how do they get my number..so annoying 🤨

Clearly 100% scam, did not answer, no message,

No message left checked number was not on my list so did not answer or ring back blocked number on phone

I am very grateful to Reverse Australia and welcome this site. And Thank Contributors too.
Scam calls have become so prolific that I write down the number of the caller and do not pick up but check here before I ring back or note for deletion.
Scammers rob needy people and people just trying to survive.

The caller said your master card was used for shopping of about my $1300. If it is correct, press the dial #1..... It is obvious that genuine Master Card does not use such mobile number.

The number is now blocked as potential fraud.
