Message from Ergon Energy regarding account is to be closed. Asking to ensure contact details are up to date. Anyone else get a similar message?

another SCAM text from Ergon saying account is overdue - ring 1300 577 300 and pay $349.08 - my account is fully paid

How is it possible that the same number used as an Ergon scam in November 2023 is still being used for the same scam in June 2025.
What the f**k are these phone companies doing.

I've had trouble with Ergon account, very similar to the above complaints. Would it be best for me to just block the number, wouldn't want scammers to get into my payment details.?!!!!!

Edit from scam message I submitted earlier to contact ergon for credit to claim re this mobile number : this was CONFIRMED with ergon from an old address account from 3 years ago. Easy to create ergon online account to confirm if you get email bills from them. Not scam

Supposed call from Ergon saying I have a $463.40 credit on my account.. Suggested I call for a refund or to transfer the amount into another account.

Message from Ergon re completion of work order (EWR). Recd at 0649am. Rang Ergon and they confirmed sending text.

Same message telling me Ergon account overdue. I know it has been paid so this is another SCAM

Telling me that my Ergon account is overdue by $349.08 - call 1300 577 300 to pay with mastercard. My account was paid last week so I know this is a scam
