Claims to be from your Visa/Mastercard supplier about a suspected $1300 charge. Obvious scam.

Pretending to be from the security department of Amazon claiming my identity had been stolen and purchases had been made. Scam!!!

Did not answer when I identified from caller ID.

27/7/23 classic scam, recorded voice asking if you approve/not approve visa purchase of $1999,
Do Not give them any info

They said they are Australia NBN. my internet will be disconnected within 24 hours.

This number called and introduced himself as a personnel from Telstra and expressing concern that my IP is public and should be changed to private otherwise my connection is not secure. I was hesitant but he even got my information to confirm he's legit. He asked me to google search " show my IP" which will show IP and that it's public. He then ask you to download an app from your phone "remote desktop" so he can show me how to change from public to private...that was alarming...I terminated the call.
