When I answered I was told someone was trying to make an unauthorised debit for $1400 from my Mastercard/Visa. I needed to select "1" to talk to someone or "2" to authorise. (I had time for some fun:) and waste there time like they were wasting mine..... I selected '1' and man with an Indian accent answered and thanked me for choosing to talk to hime:) :). He told me that someone was using my debit card to make a purchase and he needed some information, I said I was grateful that they were so alert and "happy to help". I could here the excitement in his voice :). He then asked for some personal information, and I told him I was happy to help I just needed to know which shop the purchase was being made at? He promptly put down the phone :):)

Caller: A scammer

I received a phone call similar to yours with a different number unless you know the number Dont Pick Up ever there are so many scammers out there. Be careful .

Caller: Indian Scammers

Called four times in a row and hung up after 2 rings per time. Answered on the 5th call and asked to select to talk to someone. Apparently "your mastercard/visa is being charged $2200 and I need to ask you some personal questions to verify your information."
I laughed, and said, "Jesus, I hope they can get 2k from a card because the bank won't give me 2k you dirty scammer."
Don't answer it.
