Got a call from "Joseph" or maybe "Joshua" (bit hard to hear him) - Claims to be from One to One Broker & insisting that I had made an enquiry to them for a business loan - I definitely HAD NOT as I am retired - He sounded quite young, he knew my name & seemed a bit mystified as to how he got my contact number if I hadn't made an enquiry. He was polite, but the whole thing sounded fishy to me so I checked their website - now convinced they are fraudsters. Their ABN is 11 222 333 444, their phone number is 1111 222 333, Australian Credit Licence Number – 012345, Credit Representative Number – 012345 (Are you seeing a pattern here ??), the contact page has the ph number as +61 2 123 456 789 & their location is 16 Gibbs Street, Miranda NSW 2228 Australia. I live in SA, so I wouldn't be enquiring to them anyway. I checked on business around their address & then phoned the business next door to them. I was told that the business at no 16 are a Lawyer, Psychologist & a Urologist & definitely no finance brokers. The website looks legit BUT it is not. Have checked on ABN Lookup & their quoted ABN does not exist.
