Caller: Male caller The call showed as coming from Australia (no further information). When it was answered there was a short delay, then a man's voice with a strong Indian accent began speaking. He said his name was Jason (an unusual name for an Indian person I would suspect) and he was calling on behalf of NBN and that a technician would be arriving at my address in a couple of days' time to carry out some adjustments to my NBN. The call dropped out before he could say much more, but I have had similar calls in the past and it was definitely a scam, they usually try to get you to pay some money up front to cover the cost of the non-existent work that they are pretending to be carrying out.

Voice message when I answered it started with "Dear customer...", I hung up immediately.
