some scum trying to flog bitcoin - I suggested they visit me to talk about in person - still waiting

I received a SMS from IPS not (UPS) saying that i had a parcel being help at their shipment center. (should have picked up on the incorrect name straight away)
I unfortunately had been waiting for something international so i clicked the link, it then took me to a new page to pay customs and duty taxes for $1.75 with guaranteed delivered a few days after...... i did not pay it.

Received a text message using my first name advising I had one 2nd prize with my last Woolies receipt used to enter a new year competition and to click on link. I checked this number before doing so.

Sent text saying i won 2nd place in Woolies NY draw with a dodgy link. I didn't enter any competion at Woolies for NY.

Similar txt message about Comm bank and $102 paid to a new payee.

I didnt click the link but dont understand why the dept of Communications allows them to get away with it.

Surely major telcos also know these mobile no. are scammers.

Text message claiming to be Macquarie bank. Stated that they would be restricting access to my account due to unusual activity and to click the link provided. I don’t bank with Macquarie.

Texted me claiming to be commbank. Stated that money had been paid to a new payee & that if it was not me who had paid the money to click on the link provided netbank-payments . com

I received a badly worded and poorly spelled email suggesting I had won something from Harvey Normal and provided URL to click on.

I checked the URL on https://www.scamdoc.com/ and sure enough it reported 99% sure it was fake.

Mine originated in Panama, and the URL was "number v number duy and then dot com".

Be careful of winning , esp. when you didn't enter in the first place.
