Scam caller!

Caller: Brook

I received a phone call from a woman named Brook asking for donations. She mentioned that she knew I was a small business and encouraged me to help support the paramedics. However, she didn’t give me a chance to speak, and the call felt quite rushed and one sided, so I ended up having to hang up.

Caller: I don't know

This caller did not say a word at all so I hung up...

Caller: Brooke

Brookes call stated with Hi its Brooke, my response OK!
Then she went on asking me is blah nlah your business over and over , then went on to telling me some rubbish about paramedics journals or something to that nature. It was so bogan I needed a houso to interpret her. I made her stop talking and said she really needed a better script and rehearse it before calling I would be so surprised if anyone gave out payment details.

As others stated.. Wanting sponsorship for Paramedics etc from Businesses for 'free advert' in their monthly magazine!
Persistant Got annoyed when asked for email information to be sent to verify authenticity

Called asking if I was working for a specific business, then proceeded to ramble on for 4 minutes without letting me cut in, asking for a one off donation to "Support your local paramedics". When I finally got around to explaining I don't have access to the finances, she hung up.

Caller: Zach

Now known as a scam call as I requested the charity/NFP licences or ABN, he mentioned he cannot provide such confidential information. Hung up straight away. They will try and get you to advertise in the "SES manuals" which I suspected as fake the moment he mentioned it.

Caller: Luke from SES

He knew my business name and asked if still working under it. Then asked if I would advertise in the local SES magazine to support the SES volunteers. Cold call. He was polite when I declined.

Caller: Shane king

Weird, to call and ask for a job aggressively and insultingly. Was very angry when I answered. Trying to dig into personal info, went along with it as I thought it was a genuine enquiry. Ended the call but still cant wrap my head around what happened.

Fake SES scam on small businesses.

Caller: Shane something or other.

SES statewide scam. Google it.

Good guy, just tryna do his job. Not a scammer, I call him
