Sounded like they were in a call centre because of all the background noise. The issue is that I've never reached out to vodafone, or subscribed to anything like this ...

Scam caller pretending to be Telstra to try gain access to my computer remotely.

Got that "silence" before call came into my mobile phone. Name was possibly Ivan? Had heavy accent, couldn't understand. Said he was from Telstra and there was a problem with my IP address and my personal details were at "risk". I don't use Telstra for my internet, so knew something was wrong straight away. Told him he was a scammer and hung up. Have blocked his number in my phone.
