Sending messages pretending to be your child. Message sent "Hi Mum I accidentally dropped my mobile phone down the loo, it is damaged so I'm using an old one, save this # for the time being." Subsequent messages eventually my "child" asked me to make some urgent payments that were due today, and provided me the BSB and acct details to make payment into. This is as far as I've got with the scam, before blocking the number. I don't have kids.

Called me mum, told me that they dropped their phone in the toilet and to save the number. Watch out for this number! It’s a scam!
