I am not a mother, so know this is a scam - never reply back to these types of messages

Text message contained: "Hi mumm, This my new number can u text me back when u received this message."

Definitely a scam - do not reply!

Scam do not reply

Same Hi mumm/dad etc message as others have reported from this number. Sent to my partner's mobile and he foolishly responded that they had the wrong number. Now expect he'll get lots more scam messages. DO NOT REPLY TO THESE SCAMMERS.

Just received text message on mobile still going around:

Hey Mumm/Dad,
This is my new number can u text me back when u received this message.
Definitely a scam - DO NOT REPLY BACK

Scammer asking for money pretending to be the victims child. Claims they had haemorrhoids removed. Australian/British spelling i.e. 'mum', 'haemorrhoids'.

Caller: Sent a text message.

Unknown person sent this SMS
“Hi mumm,
This is my new number can u please text me back when u received this message.”
Presume this will be the introduction to a plea for Mumm(sic) to help out with some money.
DO NOT RESPOND! DEFINITELY A SCAM

Exactly the same message as previous feedback in a text. I did not reply but an obvious scam.
