This scam tries to get you to send information and Money to buy a replacement phone.

Reads: "Hi mum/dad, I've broke my phone. My sim was broken too, I can't do much but please can you text me back?"

(Note: I don't have any Children)

Caller: Scam text, as above.

Scammer trying to get you to text back then, no doubt, send details. Almost certainly followed by request for money.
