Caller: Anne @ CareerOne

Texted - said they were Anne @ CareerOne and had a job opportunity, was it OK for someone to contact me with details. I said yes. I was contacted on WhatsApp by someone pretending to be a Victoria Davis, had female profile pic as well. They didnt always respond to my concerns, replies to questions about the job (which they said was for Groupon - they no longer have offices in Aus tho - dodgy) seemed to be a spiel and I couldnt understand the job specs, it was v good money (dodgy). I was assuming they'd got my CV from LinkedIn. As I didnt understand what the job was they suggested I could do a days trial to see what was done, they'd pay me for work done. Sent me a link for work I could do from my mobile (dodgier still) however I refused to click on the link until I'd checked a few things out (I don't like to click on web links on my mobile). I asked for Victoria's full name ("you have mine" I said and (s)he replied "Davis Victoria). No one in Aus gives u a name that way. Blocked and reported the scammer on WhatApp but when I went back to take screenshots the whole chat has disappeared.
