Text message saying Hi Mum/Dad this is my new number can you save it. Engaged me in a text conversation for awhile until I clicked that it wasn’t my daughter and is a scam

Pretend that have accidentally contacted the wrong number and want to have a chat and get your personal information. Clearly a scam.

Text msg saying hi mumm and dad this is my new number please msg back so I know you get this.

They sent a text saying "Hi Mumm/dad my phone is broken. This is my new number can u text me back when u have seen this!" DO NOT REPLY. BLOCK AND DELETE
