Says it’s origin energy but message about bill payment doesn’t apply to me. Scam?

The text message said: "Hi Anthony, Origin here. We're still sending your bills by post, is that right? . . . Reply 'Yes' to this SMS to receive your energy bills and letters by email at..."

I went to the real Origin website and the text seems to be a scam, it showed the origin website with an "m." in front of it. I emailed Origin and am awaiting their reply but I'm pretty sure it's a scam.

Received from "Origin". It's unbelievable that this number can still continue to scam people after two years of being reported on this website....the telcos couldn't care less how much spam we're bombarded with. And it's getting worse. Govt needs to do something.

Whilst I am with Origin - my phone blocked this as a spam message - and I googled the number which led me to this site - and based on all of this believe it to be a scam message.

I had same issue. I treated it as a scam and logged into Origin Energy's website directly, and not through the link in the text message.
