Caller: Oak Road Caller: The wine group (Oak Road) They call me from many many numbers.
This aggressive American owned brand now focuses on "premium" wines but they don't understand the Australian market which places value on the authenticity and provenance of their purchases. Oak Road simply say the wine comes from a 'region' and they rename it as their own. Australian wine drinkers, if paying top dollar, want to know from which winemaker, winery, region, soils, blend etc. Now I only buy authentic wines enabling me to provide feedback to the winemaker if my friends are delighted with the products.
