This number sent me an sms:
"Payment on your Bankwest Credit card ending in xxxx is now overdue. Please make a payment. Reply "Y" for more information (charges may apply)."
I went straight to my bank's website and confirmed that my credit card bill is far from being overdue. I suspect that if someone were to text back this number with a "Y", that they will be sent another link to fraudulent website.

I got the same sms. I thought it was a scam but I did press 'Y' to see what the next step was. Immediately I got another text saying, "You can pay $44.43 via: Online banking using BPAYY with Biller Code: 9100 Ref: Account ending in XXXX, in Store or by phone banking 13 17 19."
13 17 19 really is Bankwest's number, but none of the rest was genuine. The second text came from "BW Collect", which has dodgy written all over it.
