Caller: The wine group Caller: The wine group (Oak Road)
This aggressive American owned brand now focuses on "premium" wines but they don't understand the Australian market which places value on the authenticity and provenance of their purchases. Oak Road simply say the wine comes from a 'region' and they brand it as their own. They don't own a winery, they simply get wine made for them to retail. Australian wine drinkers, if paying top dollar, want to know from which winemaker, winery, region, soils, climate, blend etc. Now I only buy authentic wines enabling me to provide feedback to the winemaker if my friends are delighted with the products.

Caller: telesales Oak Road the wine group pestering me to buy wine. I told him my son works for Dan Murphy's and I get the staff discount. I'm now blocking his number.
