Caller: Amazon? I was sus about this call to begin with as the number isn't far off my own. I answered it anyway thinking it would be young kids calling. The line was silent for a few seconds until an automated message came on. It said that they were calling from Amazon wanting authorisation on a $700 payment for the 'new iPhone11'. I don't have an amazon account nor have I been wanting an iPhone.
The automated message then said something along the lines of "if this is not you please press 1".
It was at this point I'd heard enough and hung up.
