I answered this number and there was just dead air. I hung up and they called back a few minutes later but gave no time for me to answer before ending the call.

I have been cautious for a long time now about how I answer unknown numbers; only saying 'Hello' and waiting for a response. I had just applied for 2 jobs and I was expecting calls from potential employers, and so I forgot my place and greeted the caller with: 'Hello <name> speaking.' and then again 'Hello' when I heard that there was no-one there. Let it go to voicemail. Genuine callers will leave a message or text you.

This was from a local mobile number (+61).

Genuine non for profit charity call centre.
They are running a raffle which I bought a few tickets in. Nice woman who called but a lot of noise in the background.

This number contacts me daily twice a day everyday. Never leaves a voicemail and never texts. I have since blocked this number so that I no longer have to see it.

This number called me, and when I answered their call, I got a recorded message saying 'I'm sorry I can't take your call at the moment'. Completely pointless as they called me, and annoying!

Exactly the same phoned on 12th September and now 24th September. No msg left. This is a real nuisance call and most likely a scam caller.

Calling repetitively! - annoyingly, exasperatingly, boringly!!!
