I called this number back, it's been disconnected. I do not have to take part in any survey and I don't have to reply with either 1 or 2 depending on my age group. If it's not a scam, then they are going about this the wrong way, it's not like jury duty where I have to take part. If they do call, they better be ready for an ear full. I don't have time for dipsh*ts wasting my time.

Fake sites exist and have fake numbers on them....sorry but there are too many scammers out there looking for vulnerable 50-70 year old people to con them out of their life savings....I wont answer any calls from any numbers I DO NOT KNOW...

Caller: The Social Research Centre To my surprise, this appears not to be a scam. It is an Australian organisation that works with governments on occasions. The first page of its website has a long list of numbers from which it calls, and this number 0481 075 052 is one of them. Here is the site: https://www.srcentre.com.au/research-participants#contacted.

Text from The Social Research Centre. I am not stupid enough to text back 1 or 2 and if they are stupid enough to call they will be told where to shove their survey in very explicit detail
The Social Research Centre will call in the coming days to see if you are eligible for an important survey for a public health organisation. Findings will help improve health services in your area. Reply '1' if you are aged 50-74. Reply '2' if you are NOT aged 50-74.

Caller: The Social Research Centre "The Social Research Centre will call you in the coming days to see if you are eligible for an important survey for a public health organisation."
Sounds suspicious but probably isn't. The Social Research Centre exists, is part of the Australian national University, and does carry out surveys for various organisations, including public health. They can still get lost though and it's always miles easier to block these groups than to try and get your contact details taken off their lists.

See below sms with numbers to select for age indication. Spam in my opinion.

Caller: Social Research Centre First they’ll send you an SMS whereby you can’t reject them. Then they’ll call you. Fortunately I’ve blocked the number after the SMS. Seems like they’ve called a couple of times.
