Just received a call from the same number asking if I was a sole trader of a previous company. Tried to ask questions and he hung up. When I called them back, it's a female's voice message do not leave a message. It's a scam of some sort!

Asked if I had ever been a sole trader with a business on Facebook.

Called saying he’s from the Australian Police Force journal or something.. Asking for a donation of $440 and in return my business will be featured in a magazine. Sounds like an absolute scam to me

Reading the above comments if it is the same people years ago they were asking for donations to put your trade in their magazine. Others in my line of business had the same calls and was a scam. They rang me but hung up.

Caller: Jordan Humphreys (Humphries?)

Jordan Humphreys stating he was from the SES and wanted to speak to the owner of the business. I stated the owner was out of the office, then asked for a number i can have the owner call back on- he replied with ''my number should of come up on your screen''. I asked what the call was regarding he said '' Just a small project we have going on at the SES.''
-There was a slight delay between replies and he was very confident

Caller: CWA Australia

This number is definitely not a scam number. If you had did your homework and actually called them or listened to them . They are a company that has been operating in Australia now about 25 years and are contracted by The Police, The Ambulance ,The Ses Volunteers , Soldier On magazine and Street Smart magazine and do a wonderful Job I have found helping all these organizations .

Same, just happened to me 14/06/2022 - just blocked the number after I read the comments on here. Called back and got a female voice saying not to leave a message and she would call me back. then the electronic male voice saying that her message box was full. Take care all.

dont know that number ....no message left sound like a scam to me based on the message above
