Just got a strange call which I believe to be a scam from an Indian guy saying he was calling from Waverley Council for info for NSW Government. He asked how long I lived in Waverley as his first question? He had my correct address and phone no. I thought it strange Waverley Council woud be involved like this- doing research and when queried again he hurriedly hung up. Be careful if you receive a call from 0480 882 861. Tell them nothing. He did initially say this call - it’ll only take a minute. Have reported to Council. Scammers should be ashamed. So many elderly may give out sensitive and personal info! Be careful.
