Caller: Scam claiming solar

Scam caller claiming to be a solar panel to get your information and to claim the money for themselves. Say you rent even if you own they hang up.

Caller: Lady with baby

Woman on the other end had a baby with her, I could hear him babbling very loudly in the background. She was asking about my electricity bill? Not sure why she would be making this call at 7pm, surely that’s not legit working hours? I feel for her because she needs to take care of her child and make money somehow, but it truly did feel like a scam call.

This number called me just a few minutes ago. This time I actually decided to answer the call. Only for nothing to be said and the phone disconnected after 1 to 2 seconds later.
This number that just called 0480 853 364 and the one from yesterdays missed call 0480 853 364 have now both been blocked.

Caller: “James from IPA a market research company”

If this is truly a market research company then they are calling me when I’m on the “no call list” but could also be a scam call.

Who knows?

I hung up quickly and told them to lose my number. So didn’t stick around long enough to work it out.
