Yet anotha variation of dodge numbers used by “Gov’t Solar” firm with no voicemail left & simply “Customer Team” recording when attemptin to return call 😡

Hung up when answered. Scam?

Caller: Unsure

Answered the call and nothing on the other side. They hung up first.

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by moron cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion. Accordingly, the above number has been blocked and reported.

Missed call. No Voicemail left

Caller: “Secure Health”

Already knew my name (which is a concern). Allegedly running a survey on Private Health. Did not sound legit so asked them to not call again. I tried calling back to confirm their company name but only get a recording to tell me I have called “Customer Service” (American accent, no company name).
I have blocked the number.

I answered only because I was expecting a call (I normally don’t take calls from unknown mobiles). Upon answering, a brief moment with no noise, then was call diverted to a call centre and the lady on the other line stated she was calling from “Secure Health” and was running a survey on private health insurance. I did not answer questions but asked her how she obtained my details and she said from “Australian Database Management”. I asked her to remove my details and not call again as I am on the Do Not Call Register. She thanked me for my time and hung up.

Regardless of how polite she was, I still consider the call suspicious, so have blocked the number and reported the incident to Scam Watch.

Solar energy scam call from the typical Indian call centre

Some solar company (haven’t worked out which one) hired an Indian call centre based in New Delhi to spam call Australians using some dodgy contact list they purchased.
They talk nonsense about Australian Government rebates in their thick Indian accent and ask if you have solar panels.

Caller: Energy deals

It’s ok, no need to worry, the caller works for the government……. Sooooo not, it’s some dodgy as solar panel company who’re so deluded they think harassing people with SO MANY unsolicited and unwanted calls = good for business.

Hung up when answered

I didn't answer. Looks similar to other numbers that have been calling me recently. They don't leave a message. So annoying!

Caller hung up as soon as I answered. Probably a scam call.
