Had a text saying a parcel was on the way & gave me a link to log in to Australia Post. I went to my AusPost app & put the tracking number in & there was no record. I’d also received an email but that was obviously a scam as the spelling was incorrect.

Caller: Employment Scam

Received a text message saying:
'Looking for part time or full time job? Contact me for detail [website link].'

This is an employment scam. Legitimate companies will advertise on reputable job search websites - they will never text you.

If you get a text from this number, please do NOT click the link as this is how they will scam you and get your personal information.

Caller: Scam pretending to be auspost

Terrible fake link to hack your device - instead of auspost it says Au post

Text message saying "we have detected suspicious activity in your PayPal account, follow the link below..."

1) Hyperlink is random characters.
2) PayPal wouldn't text from mobile number.
3) Poor grammar.

Pathetic, low life scammers at work.....!
