Supposedly from the local council - a quick "survey" - I am suspicious.

Caller: Claiming to be from Casey council

Saying was after a survey. When I pulled her up saying the council would know I don’t live there anymore she said oh yes this is just to update our records. I also said the council would know that the name she mentioned was not my married name now, so I know it’s a scam. She said it wasn’t. I just hung up

Caller: said they were from the Australian Bureau of Statistics

knew me by name and I told them I didn't want to participate. They said it would 'only be a minute' so I said 'no' and they hung up.

Suspicious call indicating from local council asking for survey.

Said they were from a local council quick survey then when ii didn't want to give out personal information they said 'stupid' then hung up. DON'T ANSWER !!
