They have rung me on a lot of numbers, wanting donations to charity

Caller: Claimed to be Animal Welfare League

Knew my name and the name of an animal I adopted from AWL 15 years ago. Wanted to know "how it was going". 15 years ago!!! Most animals adopted that long ago would be dead by now. Would not tell me how they got my number. I hung up. Assume they wanted money.

My phone told me it was "suspected spam", so I didn't answer.

called twice, never spoke, hung up. What do these idiots hope to achieve?

I just wish the people who call from this number would realise what stress they can cause people. They ring, don’t speak when we answer, don’t leave a message, they ring again, after a short while, same thing happens, then they ring once or twice per day for a month or so, then after another month/six weeks, the same carry on continues as before. Of course I don’t answer the calls any more but the constant persistence of these callers, from whatever number, is just too much……..same applies to many other callers like this one. HELP! Now same thing happening 001166375372403……HELP!
