sms received today. Same msg as in 2022 - ("Hi, great to see you at Bendigo Bank! Let us know how we did - please rate your experience out of 5 by replying...") still happening and not on bendigo bank scam watch page

Caller: Apparently Bendigo Bank scammers.

Rang 3x yesterday. Number now blocked. Damn parasites.

Very sure it is not my bank

Today I got the same message "Hi, great to see you at Bendigo bank...", is there a coincidence I was in the bank yesterday or Bendigo bank system has been hacked so the scammer know exactly which customer had been in the branch doing some banking, and gain access to the customer's mobile number in the bank system so they can send out the message on the next day!
I blocked this number and marked as spam. Need to be stay alert all the time!

My last post here I indicated I was going to SMS Bendigo and that there was no recent warnings by them, but looking closer at the first reports this web site, it started in Nov 2022 so I'm a newbie hey, but still shocked.

Yup, I just got the same Saturday message as lots of you lot. I too rarely go inside the bank, except just yesterday! Sounds . i.e. how big is this scam? Notice the enticement "rate your experience out of 1 to 10 with a number only". Other "English" doesnt quite sound like "English". The last scam notice on Bendigo app was June 2024 about tax. Time for someone to report this SMS scam so am forwarding mine right now to Bendigo from their website. >> 0429 557 997 B.T.W. the scammers will surely be checking this website re how many of us are reporting them, then they'll change their number? Same. I rarely go to bank, buy I did go the day before I received this message on the following day. Coincidence? I do e-banking also, checked balance earlier on the day the message was received Not the first time this has happened. Blocked now.

Bendigo bank scammers. Exactly a year since their last text. Good to know the government isn't doing anything.

I see the scammer is still at it - received today - the day after I was in the Bendigo Bank - "Hi, great to see you at Bendigo Bank! Let us know how we did" etc etc. My Telstra suggested it was an unknown number and to block it and so I did. How did the scammer know I was in the bank yesterday??????

Scam ongoing it would seem, rate me msg today. Would be nice if Bendigo themselves sent out a warning as they must know this is going on.

Same message. It is obvious that the Bendigo Bank has been hacked, otherwise, how do these scammers know if one had been to the bank or not. has anyone contacted the bank????

Bendigo never will send random 'rate us' txt messages.
Scam alert. Just report as spam and block.

This number is associated with the Bendigo bank scam. They sms for a rating or try & access your account by depositing money into theirs. Claiming you need to use a token etc… it’s a total scam. Bendigo bank has a massive breach. It’s been a good 4 days of consistent txts from different numbers some even saying Ben bank. They are ghosting the number. Be careful. Fiona smith was the name they used to remove my money!
