My phone initiated a SMS, when linking a Gmail to an Outlook account. I have black listed it but I don't think you can stop this action. I have no idea what was sent. I too was charged for the Text.

FB/Google wanted to verify my phone number. It says the message will not pop up again after I had verified my account. My phone credit was charged 15 cents to do this.
