A while back i supported the NSWRFS for several years, my circumstances changed approx 18months ago and now i am financially broken, I explained this to them and they apologized and left me alone for about 4 months. For the 8+ odd years of loyalty and support i showed these guys i am now Peppered with calls every single day and it appears they have now past my number onto other fund raising organizations. I have a private number and am currently strongly weighing the pros & cons of disconnecting my home phone because of these guys. 8+ years "I SHOULD NEVER HAVE GIVEN THEM A CENT"

Who ever rings from this number, no message is ever left. I believe it to be a scam

This is not the RFS it is the association so you money isn’t going to the RFS, don’t be scammed as they will hound you with multiple calls a day for ever

Caller: Unsure when I answered after - week of the calls several times a day they didn’t speak

Possibly a legitimate call/fundraiser but after a Google search also could be Spam call or unwanted call. Honestly over the last week they call several times a day. They never leave a message. If they are fundraisers then leave a message or text a message through with a legitimate business name/website/landline number. If I answer the phone after several ‘reject call/send to voicemail in a day either say something or remove phone number from your ‘scam/fundraiser call list’. The number you are calling is private. Only 11 people/organisations have it. 4 are family/friend, 1 is a primary school, The others are Centrelink, Medicare, ato, my gov, ‘workforce’, 1 family medical centre,

Said it's AMazon prime and they are going to debit my credit card. Goodbye

Tried to scam me with "You have been charged $799 if this was not you press 1 and talk to a representative."
I do not have an Amazon account and the "representative" was a fake in Indian call centre.

Caller: Nuisance

Every time these people call I turn on the answering machine and they don’t leave a message just call all the time day and night, once asking personal info about my mother who was conned into donating years ago. They’re ruthless and have not taken our number off their list.
Makes me want to cancel my phone service.

this number has been calling every day for a couple of weeks. I know it is the RFS fund raising as I am a RFS member. It is outsourced to a company who take 50c in every dollar you donate. if you want to donate do it directly to a local brigade as they get 100c in the $1. ie. all of it not half

I don't know how a NSW group got my name and number and I always tell them to take me off their list. I live in Victoria. It seems they don't listen.

Caller: Rural Fire Service

I made the mistake of buying raffle tickets 2 years ago and they now won't leave me alone. I have called and asked that I be taken off their data base but that doesn't make any difference. They call every day and as I don't answer the call there is no message left. Like other people, I now regret buying those tickets. This is their latest number as I have blocked a number of others over the past couple of years.

During the bush fires i felt sorry for them and donated. Maybe i would have again if they didn't consistently harass me. If you are reading this RFSA you can f*** right off and leave me off your lists. Thank you kindly.

Pretty sure rfs trying to sell raffle tickets made mistake of buying 2 tickets in 2019 had 100’s of calls since despite telling them not to ring & blocking number they changed number (if they didn’t waste $’s on calls they’d have plenty money)
