I tried to call back after screening the call and got a 'number not available' message. So it is not a legitimate caller eg telemarketer

Did not answer. No message left

Caller: someone claimed to be from VRP

I got so many calls from this number until I gave in and the woman told me she is from VRP (Victoria Rebate Program), I dont even live in Victoria!

Caller: Some sort of company , I didn't catch the name, something about housing

I picked up the phone , there was a woman who spoke English asking if I was.... - here she said my name but mispronounced. I asked where did she get this phone number from and she said from housing company. I asked if she ment that it was bought from real estate agency, she answered - yes it was purchased from real estate agency. Then I asked what other data have you got. She then disconnected the call. I checked back my unanswered calls and found many phone numbers starting with 04800... I suggest that noone should answer these calls

Telemarketer from what sounded like an overseas call centre. Most likely spoofing a local mobile number to get people to answer.

2nd call in 2 days , its not ringing on my phone but saying I have a missed call, have now blocked it!

Answered call nobody there.
Have had several calls from same or similar number. This one 8.20am.

A stupid scammer keeps on calling. Nuisance.

Number calls and when you answer it hangs up after a few seconds. When you call the number back a voicemail says ‘record your message and press # or press * to contact the operator’. Scam caller vetting for victims.

Called but didn't leave a msg.

Rang 4 times today. I have a new Samsung A53 and as it rang it said Telemarketer. Nice feature - obviously caller has a history that got him on to the Samsung database of callers to avoid.

There was a woman voice but very robotic, I suspected it was from a robot as it was reply after my voice only and never initiate why she's calling for.
