Called speaks Chinese (Mandarin) keeps calling back when you hang up. Most likely scam call.

Keeps calling me and somehow knows my Chinese name, says he got it from wechat but I don't use wechat anymore. He keeps insisting I go out with him despite me telling him to piss off.

Random man speaking Chinese, handed phone to partner as I don't speak Chinese. They would evade when my partner asked what they were calling about

Scammer: “Hello, can you speak Mandarin?”
Me: “I don’t.”
Scammer: “But I don’t speak English.”
Me: “You’re literally speaking English right now.”
Scammer: “I spoke to you a few weeks ago. My name is Daniel. Back then, you spoke Mandarin. Now you pretend you don’t?”
Me: (Laughing so hard I nearly dropped the phone…)
Like wow—someone who can’t speak English is suddenly delivering dramatic monologues with plot twists!

Called saying his name was Eric or Aaron, spoke in mandarin. Somehow knew my Chinese name. Hung up abruptly. Probably a scam call from all these comments.

I am feeling he is trying to keep you stay as long as possible, what i am thinking he is intalling some software or something and cheating you or stole some secret info like bank code or your voice to cheating your family to get money. block immediately.

Mandarin speaking man asking “ Do you remember me, oh you have not saved my number” to pretend being a familiar person. Very old scam type back almost 20 years in mainland China and now reappearing in Aus.

Just literally received a call from this number now, all comments are correct. Hang up and block.

no idea who this is. i just saw the notification on my phone, i don't believe my phone actually rang before the call stopped.

They called me many times via this number 0480 054 303 i missed it, then I finally picked up once and he pretended he knew me. I knew it was a scammer and hang up and blocked him. He then called me again 0480 025 985 same guy Kelvin. This time I didn't speak Chinese to him but was speaking English "stop hassling me or I will call the police" and hang up and blocked again.

Male Chinese speaker, lots of background noise when I picked up the call. Kept asking if I spoke Chinese, I pretended I didn't. Kept asking who he was and insisted I didn't speak Chinese and he hung up. JUST PRETEND YOU DON'T SPEAK/SAY YOU DONT SPEAK CHINESE!! He didn't call me again lol
