I found a cat breeders website called Andy Kitten Cattery. His name is apparently Andy Williams. First charged $850 for kitten. then on the day the kitten was to be delivered I was asked for $2580 (refundable) for the carrier. checked with Andy and yes this is ok. Then they asked for $3200 for insurrance.
