Scam call. Lady with Indian accent said she was from Legal Assist and claimed I was in a recent accident. I hung up and blocked the number.

Called today. Same as the other comments on here. I asked for his employee ID number and Business name so I could check it out. Would not give any info to me so I hung up.

Caller: Legal Assist apparently

A man with a strong Indian accent rang saying I was in a car accident. Told him we haven't had any accidents and he insisted that we had, and he was here to help. Told him he was a scammer and he replied this is not a scam repeatedly, told him to stop scamming people and get a life, he then proceeded to hang up.

Legal Assist at it again, hung up immediately after he said he was from Legal Assist; and before he could start his scam speech. This scam is so old they obviously can't afford new scam writers.

didn't recognise this number, so applied my usual rule of not answering call - caller hung up. thanks to all those of you who gave these irritating people a serve when you spoke to them. I've now blocked the number.

Apparently from legal assist about a motor Veichle accident I was in in the last two years - said I know al about this scam no no it’s not a scam and soon as I said tell me the Veichles involved and I started screaming at her she hung up on me.

Received an unknown mobile number which I didn't picked up the call and went to my voicemail. The voicemail sounded like an Indian accent (male) and kept saying "hello.. hello... can you hear me." for several times for few seconds. I instantly blocked the number. Not worth answering!

Asking about my accident, trying to get all my information and the other car involved info... then I said I’ll think about it, then he said okay no worries then hung up the phone

Thick Indian accent, asked me about car accident in the last 2 years, blah blah the normal spiel. I encouraged him and asked him what number to call him back on, which was completely different.
I'm going to call legal assist now and let them know someone is using their name to harass people.

This phone number called me today. Same as the all the rest on here.
Its a disgrace these arsehole are still operating. Aus Gov can obviously do nothing and Telcos ave no ability to block it.

I answered the call but said nothing. Put caller on mute. Caller didn't speak and hung up after about 3 secs

Caller with an Indian accent said he was calling from 'Legal Assist.' He then asked if I'd been in an accident in the past 2yrs, to which I answered, no I hadn't been. He repeated the question and I gave the same answer. He then told me to have a nice day and hung up. Another typical spam call!!

The caller is still active, received the call just now. Exactly the same lines. I said no and hung up.

Indian accent, I always answer the phone with a hello and always get that 1.5sec pause before they say "hello?" "hello?" "hello?", (must be multi-tasking until they hear a voice and then they tune in). That pause with a noisy background at their end is enough for me to hang up and block. Been copping these nuisance calls for close to 2 years now. They always call during work hours when I'm in the middle of something critical.
