I didn't take the call because I read that all numbers start with 04800xxxxx are scammers.

Solar scam

Said she was from energy and I’m on the home owner database and entitled to $6k solar. Ffs

Caller: Weird solar company

Identified me by name bc I answer the phone with my name - could hear weird noises in the background and they always hung up when I answered. Blocked.

Same, identified me by name, I confirmed then they hung up. Weird.

Cold Call. Said they are a family owned solar business. Have blocked,

Said they were from a company called Energy, Not a power provider, but I was on their database as being contacted last year by a colleague. Said I had not yet taken advantage of the governments solar rebate and was I in a position to install solar in my place. I said I was not and I did not know why they were still calling me as I am on the Do Not Call Register. As soon as I said that they hung up before I could finish.

I replied and they hung up.
Now have blocked number

Hung up as soon as I answered. I have now blocked the number.

Answered call, no-one spoke, could hear noises in the background.
They then hung up without saying a word.
