This number called my mother and started speaking Chinese (?!) saying they were from the Chinese Embassy - very strange scam caller. I have set my mum up with Truecaller now

An idiot using this number called me at 7:30 in the evening. Very bad line and with a very thick sub-continent accent he proceeded to make me some sort of offer - unintelligible because of the line qualitry and his accent. I told him to go away and hung up.

Someone with what sounded like a fillipino accent told me she was from a company called fortune 500 selling the best online cookies?!? Said I had been referred by a friend and she would send the link through to show they’re legit 🙄
Lots of uhms and clicks on a key board after I asked for her location.

Foreign Indian ancent and don’t even understand what he is talking about… most likely a scam

Called at 5.40pm, every time I asked for his abn so I could report him he apologised, eventually he hung up on me

Isn't it weird that this is a known scam phone number, like many others but when reported, nobody gives a stuff about doing something to either cancel the number or to track down the scammers....not the Government, not the ACCC, not the fraud squad, not Telstra or Optus. And my number is on the DO NOT BLOODY CALL ME REGISTER, yet they still come though....no wonder we're losing 3 billion a year to scammers!

caled me at 1:24pm - said her name was Bella - the proceeded with a speech offering me something, I said No thanks and hung up

Scam online betting scam

Someone with an American accent clearly from the Phillipines
Asked for money from me, I challenged why, admitted they were trying to take money off me.
Told them I would report them to the authorities, regulatory and commission

called back and it was an Indian woman saying she was calling from online games and I won $50. I hung up and blocked right then and there.

Left a message which was a kid crying!

Unknown caller, left no message. Strange number. Usually numbers starting like 04800 are mass generated and used by offshore marketing companies
