Has called people i know asking for all my details without giving any identification himself. Just said he was from a private company.

That just happened to me too. A strange woman called and she said she was from Sydney, and wasn't sure if she called the right number. She was looking for Shannon Gramrock. She said Shannon had given [she said my address and she called on my mobile phone number]. I asked what is your name, but she continued without telling me. I felt like she was pressuring me for more information, so I didn't answer until she answered my question, I repeatedly asked for her name. She eventually she gave me her first name, then I asked for her second name; she said "why?"defensively, then checked herself and was friendly again. I repeated my question and she mumbled something so I asked her to spell it, and she ignored me again. Mary then asked if Shannon Gramrock lived at my address for a second time, I pondered her question for a few minutes then answered, he'd never lived at this address. I think I made her feel uncomfortable because she said she must have been given the wrong address and we ended the call cordially.

Called saying someone had stolen my identity & opened an account in my name, presumably for money laundering!
All they needed was for me to open a crypto account where they can deposit to then I can transfer to my bank
They can help me very quickly via remote control!! Yeah !!! NO WAY! They were persistent! I hung up!! SSCCAAMM

Complete Credit Solutions- Debt collectors. Usually have purchased a debt from a bank

Person called Dean called me to talk to my husbands brother. Had my number to talk to my husband. He asked for contact details for my husbands family and I said I can't give these to you as I don't know who you are. I said if you give me your details I will arrange them to call you, he said he couldn't due to privacy and I said we you can understand that I am in the same position and that I am not willing to give him my husbands families details as I don't know who you are.

Caller: Jordan

This guy (had an English accent) rang today asking if I knew Alex xxx When I said no then said he lived at my previous address (which he gave me and was correct) and wanted to contact him No idea how he got my phone no and previous address from. I rang back - a female answered (sounded like they were in some sort of call centre) and then put me on to "Jordan" - I aske why he wanted to contact "Alex" - said it was in relation to a sensitive matter! I then told him I had reported him to the cyber crime site - wasn't fazed at all! Most unusual and suspicious

A female called me and asked if she was speaking to (my name) I said yes. She then asked if she could speak to a Todd Baker. I said I personally don't know a Todd and asked where tgey got my number from with no response. I said to delete my number and don't call me again.

I was curious to know who they were so I called back and spoke to a male in which he put me through to the female that called me. I asked for her name with no response. So I asked who she works for and she said a private company. I asked yeah but what's the company called. She said she can't give out that information due to confidentiality.

I said Fxxkn BS you mofo are scammers and the lowest of scum that walk this earth. I also said some other not nice words and told her that people like them deserve to be 6ft under.

Just amazes me how they get your name and number.

Be careful as they are SCAMMERS.

Got a call from guy named Jason. He knew my name and asked for contact details of a friend who was in contact with me back in 2017 via Facebook. I did not even remember his name until this caller reminded me that you met him via facebook. I am not in contact with him in any platform since 2018, nor have his phone number now. Scammer kept on insisting you might know his whereabouts please this is urgent. I felt lucky that I did not have any info regarding that guy so I just couldn’t share any info even If I wanted to. Be aware, these guys seem so confident and make u beleive they are genuine.

He pretty much saved me from getting a bankruptcy notice.

Said he wanted to speak to glen king..said I didn’t know him. He was ringing from nsw and knew my surname..said he thought I lived with this guy ..umm no and hung up

Caller was looking for contact information for a neighbour. Wanted me to give them a message. I told them I didn't know the neighbour and that I was not home.
Asked how they got my number (mobile) and they said they looked up the white pages for my street. They knew my name.

A guy called asking if I was at a previous street I lived at. I told them no. They then said there was an issue with a person who would have used to be a neighbour. It was very suspicious as they didn't say where they were from. I have blocked and reported them as a scam.

This number called, I didn’t answer. I called back (after silencing my own number first), a girl said her name was ‘Killee’ (??) but wouldn’t give further detail about her organisation. I asked who called my number, she said their number is shared with other staff.
Told her “If you’re a marketing company… f*ck OFF!!!!
And I hung up. Reported to telco as SPAM.

Whoever this is calling at 5:30pm is unprofessional….

Asked if I knew (insert landlady's name) then asked if I could pass on their number after saying that he's been sending mail to my address thinking landlady still lived here still don't know how he got my number
