I asked where he was from and what company he was from he said due to the nature of the business he couldn't help so I repeated his line back and said due to the nature of your attitude I can't help you. He then said 'I'll just get his details from elsewhere' as I hung up on him. Cheeky bugger

Looking for a person by name that lived in XYZ different suburbs but did not provide a reason why, sounded like a debt collector

"Randy" Called asking for someone i know, who he knew the name of

Caller: Jason from a private company

I returned a call to a mobile number, then I was transferred to a person called Jason, he kept repeating this. He asked me if I knew a Tony (with my last name)and that I was on his friends and family register, and when I asked him where he was from he said that if I tell you that then I'll know what the matter is about and it's private. I said that if Tony asks me what am I to tell him, he said for Tony to check his emails. He said he's lost contact with him, he couldn't provide me with at date that he last spoke to "Tony" or a date that he apparently sent out the email. He assured me Tony wasn't in any trouble. I said I know an Anthony, with my last name, he said no its Tony, I said Tony can be a shorten version on Anthony, he said on well if that's the case then we have the wrong person, but if you're speaking with Tony please get him to call me.

He was reaching out to me to see if I was friends with a couple of names I have never heard of. Said he must have called the wrong name. He called me by name.

He knew my name but wouldn't tell me who he was or where calling from

He rang, had an old address. He mentioned that he was from Parramatta, a Private Company handling a personal matter. No idea who the person he referred to was, or how he got my details. I mentioned that even I did know this person, he had provided no privacy verification so there was no chance.

I called this number back and he said Jayvan tried to call me. I said who is the company please and said he could not tell me... I said so you ring but can't tell me where you're from... said I am not interested and do not call me again... SO SUSS!!!!

Caller: They were looking for my mother but wouldn’t tell me why

I’d assume debt collection or medical as they said they were not permitted to disclose the reason for the call
