I had a missed call from this number today. They didn't leave a message. I never answer my mobile phone if I don't know who the caller is, as they have the opportunity to leave a message. I always check the number on this website. Thanks everyone for posting. I'll now block the number. Unfortunately these scammers are relentless and will continue to try and scam people.

I've just been called and I blocked the number

caller : Legal Assist. Regarding an accident i am claiming. Sounds indian. Looks like a scam

There is a beep as soon as you answer so I didn’t say “hello” as it’s obviously being recorded so I waited. A woman came on the line and called me by my correct name. I told her she had the wrong number - I was not that person. She asked my name and I asked her for hers first. She didn’t give it to me. Said she is from a collection agency and needed to speak to me about a minor accident. I told her I was calling the police on my other phone to have them on the line if there is an accusation of an accident. She hung up.

“Legal Assist”. I had been in an accident? I hung up knowing this was a scammer.

missed call so called back. heavy indian accent lady answered. said calling from legal aide because of a car accident I had. asked where this accident occured, but kept telling me she was ringing because of accident. hung up and blocked number

Thank goodness for this page. What makes them think they have a right to do this sort of thing. VERY annoying

Woman with continental accent calling from ‘Legal Assist’. I advised her that I am on the do not call register and she is breaking the law by calling. I asked her for her name so I can report her. She then got aggressive and refused to answer my questions. A very unpleasant call, but one the I knew was a scam. The scary thing is that she was very persistant and if I didn’t know it was a scam, then she would easily prey on the vulnerable.

Tried to tell me they were from Legal Assist in relation to a car accident.

People calling on this mobile 0480 034 347 stating they are calling from legal Assist and asking if I had been in a car accident, stating their address level 20 200 George Street Sydney, couldn't give an ABN, manager name, internet address, email address

Asking if I had had a car accident, they could help me for free! Very kind of them, not. I kept asking questions they couldn't answer, like which law they were referring to, she said "Australian law" - too funny. I kept cross examining her, for fun. I said she should be ashamed of herself for doing this. In the end she got cranky with me and very crankily said "thank you for wasting my time" . I was very happy to have wasted a scammers time - a successful phone call in my view!

Don't pick up. It is a spam.
