Nuisance calls- call multiple times a day after a simple online search looking at courses. Now they won’t stop calling

I called back number 0480 033 408 rang once then goes to busy tone.

Caller: Apparently Open Universities

I've had 2 calls. One from this number and one from a number with 3 as the last digit instead of the 8
I've also had a message from another number thanking me for my enquiry about Open Universities.
I have NEVER even searched online for open university EVER.

claiming to be open university after i put my number down for a course quiz. have non stop been calling me from different numbers, mainly this one for the past week.

open uni i believe, since i checked their online site the other day and they look the culprit in the comments. non stop ever since i did that 💀

Had a call from this number and two more from others ending with one digit different in a day. No message on voicemail, I doubt it's Open University Australia as suggested above

I have been called by multiple numbers all very similar over the last week or so. This one has called me the most. My phone sees these calls as spam so it never rings just logs the calls. Having looked at all the comments about open universities it's obviously them but I have never even searched for them or looked at their website.

Woman says she was from open universities and asking about my course enquiry, when she asked for my date of birth I asked for her purpose in calling and says she was a student advisor, and finally at the end says she will monitor my application after not seeming to know I even had one previously. Seems a bit suspicious but we will see.

Like several others, I made an enquiry about some Open University courses online. Asked to give my name and phone number to get more info.
First caller from this number left a detailed message about being there to help.
Now I am being called every day by so-called "experts" to help me. No message left after the first one. Posting a comment for a second number 0480 033 404

I gave my number to open universities australia for an inquiry about a course. This is their number. But many more have called so it looks like they’ve taken my number and given it to scammers

Had multiple missed calls from this number and they left no message. Called back and went straight to busy tone
