After I signed up to a degree this number left me a voicemail offering help if needed.

Merely made an online enquiry about courses on the weekend; being called immediately. I didn't request a call. Makes me not interested now!

Judging by this article I believe it was from Open Universities. I signed up last night to look at courses. Now I feel stupid for giving them my number. So far I've had two missed calls from them, and one text message. My phone has been on silent the whole day so I haven't had the opportunity to pick up; when I do I will be asking for them to remove my number from their systems.

i answered and said hello but they immediately hung up

When I returned the call - it was disconnected immediately

Same happened to me. I was just curious about what courses they have. Also looked at the AI investment stuff and have so far blocked 52 phone numbers.

Eugh. All I did was sign up to look at courses.... they say on their website that they won't annoy you but the phone call I got two minutes later told me that they were lying......

I looked at courses online from a Facebook ad. Didn't make an enquiry and didn't leave any contact details. How did they get my number to keep calling?

Apparently it’s open university from the comments. I don’t know how they got my number I’m not even looking at uni courses!

They called and said that I had looked at their website. They asked what I was looking at on the website and then they hung up. I am pretty sure this was not legitimate.

Just browsing their site. You can't browse their courses fully without entering your details. Now I know why!! Not 5 minutes and they are calling me. I've had 2 calls from them today. Turned me RIGHT off!
