Caller: Aged Care Decisions

I missed it the first time they rang. Voicemail was just a lot of background noise and someone coughing. Then they sent me a text:

Hi (not my name), this is Aged Care Decisions. Sorry we missed you on the phone. You recently enquired about our FREE service that assists families in finding home care providers, residential aged care and respite vacancies. Please contact us directly on 0485 886 280. We look forward to assisting you.

They then rang me again a few minutes later and asked for someone by name (not my name). Said it wasn’t me and I didn’t know who that was and they were apologetic and hung up.

Could be legit?

Caller: Missed Call Think it was Telemarketer

I will log this no. in my phone as Do Not Answer.

Received a call from “Aged Care Decisions” asking for (Not my name) then as soon as I hung up received this text:
“Hi (not my name) this is Aged Care Decisions. Sorry we missed you on the phone. You recently enquired about our FREE service that assists families in finding home care providers, residential aged care and respite vacancies. Please contact us directly on 0485 886 280. We look forward to assisting you.”

Whoever it was did not leave a message. Blocked the number and deletef

Left a voice message and said they were from "Aged Care Decisions" and were calling in regard to my previous case with their "Placement Specialist" and would love to see if they can assist.
I googled the number and it has come up under other scams/telemarketers.

Rang & said it’s for a economic survey.
Blocked the no:

Called announcing themselves as "Aussie Protect" wanting to do a short survey. Told them not interested and hung up.

Called out, the left a voice message which was just a guy clearing his throat

Speak to them in another language. Or say in a very Australian acent, "fair dinkum, what about that bush tucka, don't speak English mate."

A lot of background noise, so think a foreign scammer call centre. They hung up when I said hello. Have blocked and deleted.
