telemarketer. Why carn't the government tell them all to take a hike. Sick and tired of their crap.

Keeps on ringing. tried to call back but no answer. they left voicemail but nothing was said, just background noise. So annoying

Caller: I called a friend and this number came up as mine.

I called a friend and this number came up on her phone, instead of my details. When she called it back it came through to my phone, but when I called it from my phone it rang out, however the ring tone was like you hear when calling internationally.

They kept asking for personal details - I asked for their personal details, did not get it. Kept getting missed calls from them, no messages were ever left. Almost 100% sure they are a scam. Blacklisted.

They keep calling and I don't pick up. They never say which company they are calling from and now revert to providing a reference number, to make it all sound very official.

Multiple calls a day. Saying that someone recommended me to go to different holidays places etc. Next call from same number was trying to sell me something different.

I answered and heard a busy call centre in the background. They said “hello I’m looking for (they said my name)” I said “yes” (immediately regretted it) then they hung up.. government needs to get this under control.

Said they were from the "International National Statistics Office" It was a scam but listened for more details. Wanted to know if I was born in Australia? (me: yep) (won’t ever say “yes” in case it is reproduced and used for digital agreements) How long have I been in the workforce (me:all my life) (they didn’t question that response) Did I think the cost of living was expensive in Australia? (me:no) If I was offered a second income would that help to make ends meet (me: no). We work with organisations world wide to bring extra income to people - would you be interested? (me: *eyeroll* hang up)

Yep, agree. Damn,....M...F..CK telemarketing people and government should do something about this. Rather than focusing on the non-important project.
