Woolworths driver trying to get in contact with you if you aren’t home

I called back number 0480 021 500 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

Call from an unknown number. No message left. Reading the other comments regarding this number, I don't have a woolworths delivery being made so this seems like it may have been a wrong number - it only called once.

It's the Woolworths guys doing delivery, it's safe

Woolworths do not provide the delivery drivers with customer phone numbers. When a delivery driver needs to call a customer, they send a request via their delivery app. Woolworths will then call the driver and customer separately via an automated system and connect the 2 calls together.

It is done this way so woolworths can record the call and so that the drivers personal phone number is not reveled to the customer, or vice versa.

This is not a mobile number associated with Woolsworth delivery drivers despite what others have stated. By that logic, you're saying all delivery drivers have the same mobile number :/ If there is an issue with your order, Woolsworth will contact you directly from either their 1800 number or the official store number relevant to your local store.
Ignore the caller and move on.

I answered "hello".Then a man said hello and nothing else so l didn't say anything and then he hung up. RUDE.
Background noise seemed like it was a call centre.

Delivery drivers use this number to call you to let you know they are at your house for delivery
