Caller: Scam

Missed call so called them back. They knew my name. Filipino accent. Claimed to be calling about a new superannuation initiative involving closure/reorganisation of funds happening next week. Said they had to confirm "three simple" thing before proceeding which sounded like a BS scam to me. First question "please confirm you are between 27 and 55" I then hung up. Smells of a scam. Don't tell these guys anything. If you are worried call your own superannuation to discuss.

Called and left no message. Seems any number with that 0480 prefix is a scam.

received this call and a bunch of others with similar numbers (but different last 2/3 digits + one outlier) in the last few days

similar numbers are:
0480 008 752
0480 008 797
0480 008 746
0480 008 698
0480 008 735
0480 008 755
0480 026 964

these are all the numbers that have called me within the span of 5 days, along with a few other numbers that don't follow the same pattern as the ones mentioned

I Answered and no one reply , then I called the number and number not available so I blocked the scammer

I've had multiple calls from the prefix 0480 etc....definitely scam phone calls. Scary how they know info about me but still a scam , I ignore them now after answering one that claimed they were calling re: super,the ATO does not call you re: anything to do with your super. I block the number but then a week or so later another one pops up. Frustrating but not much you can do about really.

Have had several calls all beginning with 0480 008 7XX the last two numbers differ each time. all the same scam
