Calls and hangs up - very annoying

Called twice, first time on 19 May and I answered without saying anything and they hung up at the 30 second mark (like most scammers do), second time I answered (forgetting to block the number the first time round) and said 'Yeah' and they instantly hung up.
Have now blocked the number.

Just hung up as soon as I said hello

I missed this call and did not call back. Spam

Called, so answered and said "Hello" - caller instantly hung up (maybe looking for people to say "This is …" to get your name? I ONLY say my initials on Messagebank now.).

So added 1831 to start of number to hide my number & rang back - instantly disconnected, didn't seem to connect at all, tried twice - dunno might be a ring an expensive transferred call scam?

They called asking for Melanie, I said no you might have the wrong number. They said hello again is this Melanie and then hung up.

They asked to speak to Andrew - who I get lots of random spam phishing texts addressing. I said “I am not andrew and I don’t know who you are” and they repeated their name. Then they said “hello” a few more times. I hung up after talking over them saying “i am not andrew”
