Dodgy. Person asking who I was promptly hung up. Didn't answer when I dialled the number from a landline.

Some scum sucking ars-hole, supposedly working for commonwealth bank security. Someone is using your account to buy stuff from America for $800 again routine!

this number called and didn't leave a message., I tried to called it back and it's been blocked from being called on my Telstra network. Sounds like a good move!

after answering they just hung up. a minute later they called again and said they want to send me info around phone integration systems to google and cloud services - i said no thanks and she politely hung up call. it was a british lady with a cockney accent trying to do a sales pitch i guess. ive blocked the number now

Used the Google Screen Call service and hung up almost instantly.
