Caller: James from the wine group

Caller announced himself and "James from the wine group". I just hung up and blocked the number. This is the 9th phone number he has called me on over the past few weeks and he seems to have a long list of spare numbers to call from. I'm actually calmly impressed and violently annoyed at the same time by just how dedicated James is, as his tactic seems to be the more I annoy you the more wine you will buy from me.

This guy must get some action from his wife on a regular basis as he does NOT take no for an answer. If he only used his powers for good instead of evil I'm sure he could make a real difference in the world. The persistence he has for trying to sell you his cheap wine is unmatched by anyone else on the planet.

I feel like this was a very advanced AI bot. I asked if he was a bot while he was reading his sales script and it completely didn't phase him at all. I also feel like he said the same exact sentence twice in different parts of the conversation in the exact same cadence. So0o0o0o holly crap, scams are getting smarter. Absolutely chilling. Watch out everyone

Same as the other comments. I too keep getting calls from this James wine group. When I say hello in an aggressive tone he doest speak. I block the number and then next day calls on different number. I have blocked at least 5.

I am getting daily calls from various numbers - James from the Wine group. Block a number and they call through on another one the next day. Calls come at various times during the day and evening. Very annoying - I have no idea how they got my number, but they are a pest.

Have been calling me for 8 months won’t stop calling - keep blocking but they use new numbers.
It all started since I bought wine from BWS in Surry Hills NSW they must have on sold my details from my rewards card to the Wine Group! Pissed off!

Be careful guys, obviously this "James from the wine group" cant call 1000 people each day and some scammer probably have captured his voice recording and reused over and over again for nefarious reasons.

I keep getting this wine bloke I don't drink wine. Block the number but it doesn't work.

Also James from the wine group. I told him as soon as he said his name that I did not drink alcohol but still he launched into his spiel. When he took a breath I said “what is it about I don’t drink alcohol that you didn’t understand “ he launched further into his spiel. I hung up.

persistently calls to sell wine - everyday at the moment - a friend had success with telling them she was an alcoholic to get taken off the list
