Got the following unsolicited text message from this number:

"One of my colleagues will most likely try and connect with you in the next few days. If you prefer they don't, pls let me know. Warm regards, Abigail"

Don't know an Abigail. Rest of these reports have confirmed it's a junk number. Blocked.

Caller: Apparently Greenpeace

Got a message claiming I’ve recently signed a petition which I may have I sign a lot of petitions however I never give out my number.

Left long silent voicemail

They hung up without saying anything, but received multiple calls from a 03 landline number within minutes. Blocked numbers.

Hung up immediately when I answered.

Caller: Abigail from Greenpeace

Message thanking me for signing a petition. Didn't sign and never give phone number - scam

Caller: Amazon

Asking if I wanted to cancel my prime account which I don’t have, when asked( computer voice) if I wanted to speak to someone, press 1, that in turn made them hang up

Scammer. Lady with accent said they are calling from the security from my bank. They couldn't even tell me which bank they are calling from!

Received a text from "Abigail" at "Greenpeace"

Hey NAME, it's Abigail from Greenpeace here. Just wanted to pass on a massive thank you for signing our Global Sanctuary petition. Together, we can make a difference. [random link].

Spam for sure, and blocked.

A lady called me, and left a scratchy as voice message with people in the background lol atleast be professional 😂

Calle but they didn’t leave a message. Have blocked.

Interesting to see previous mentions of this number - I got a text - it said:
"We would love to update you on our recent work and one of my colleagues will most likely try & connect with you in the next few days. If you prefer they"
I guess they are trying to provoke me into responding. I will block instead.

Rang but left no message.

One of the people who commented said they’d signed a petition, but didn’t give out their phone number.
I have signed petitions I felt very strongly about, and I could not submit them UNLESS I included my number.
Just be aware that signing petitions and giving your number, even to such worthy causes, will result in you getting calls from many different charity and “worthy cause” groups, who may be associated in some way, or who may support the good cause you signed the petition for.
Not all of them will want your money, but most will welcome you to donate.

My phone identified this number as possible scam

I got one of the text messages like the one above. It came from Greenpeace after I signed a bogus petition at the local markets and they keep it in a database and call and email things.
